Hi! My name is
Krister, and to the left you can see what I look like (or at least
as good an approximation you can get with a passport photo...) I'm
trained as a mathematician, but after studying for 6 years I got tired
of the university life (and nobody needs a computational topologist
anyway) so I started to work programming multiprotocol print servers
at Axis Communications. That's about as exciting as it sounds, so after
about a year a changed to a small startup,
Precise Biometrics,
doing fingerprint identification stuff.
...because the idea that the computers were taking over was one that the programmers had a vested interest in reinforcing. When I was younger I spent too much time programming Amiga demos for
a group callde Voice.
(Check out my Amiga
demo nostalgy page!). I haven't got a life yet, so I still spend
a big part of my copious free time doing computer related stuff. Mostly
small bugfixes for cool projects I find on the net, but I'm trying to
do some real work for NetBSD,
where I'm mostly doing toolchain related stuff.
