Anti-spam banner Hi! My name is Krister, and to the left you can see what I look like (or at least as good an approximation you can get with a passport photo...) I'm trained as a mathematician, but after studying for 6 years I got tired of the university life (and nobody needs a computational topologist anyway) so I started to work programming multiprotocol print servers at Axis Communications. That's about as exciting as it sounds, so after about a year a changed to a small startup, Precise Biometrics, doing fingerprint identification stuff.
...because the idea that the computers were taking over was one that the programmers had a vested interest in reinforcing. As long as people kept worrying that the machines were taking over, they wouldn't notice what was really happening. Which was that the programmers were taking over.

When I was younger I spent too much time programming Amiga demos for a group callde Voice. (Check out my Amiga demo nostalgy page!). I haven't got a life yet, so I still spend a big part of my copious free time doing computer related stuff. Mostly small bugfixes for cool projects I find on the net, but I'm trying to do some real work for NetBSD, where I'm mostly doing toolchain related stuff.

Well... If you have too much spare time, why not check out some links from my hotlist.
