Introduction - Why do we even need this program and what is it used for?
The Reminder program was created specifically for everyone who sets aside a specific time for computer work (e.g., 2 hours) and then forgets about it for various reasons. How many times have you probably watched a good movie, only to find yourself sitting in front of the computer all afternoon? As you can probably guess, dear reader, this program is designed to remind you after a specified period of time that your allotted time for computer work has passed.
Hardware Requirements
The Reminder program doesn't have demanding hardware requirements. You need a 100% IBM PC-compatible computer. An Intel 486 processor is sufficient. Up to 16 MB of RAM is recommended. The required operating system is Microsoft® Windows™ 95/98/98 SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista™. You can even try running the program on a Linux emulator like Wine or Cedega, but with these configurations, the program may not function properly.
Using the program
The program has been designed to be easy for even novice computer users. To launch it, double-click its icon. Once the program starts, you'll see the following window:

A Tray icon is created as well. You can use it to control the program.

First, enter the amount of time you want to spend working or playing on the computer in the field. If 60 minutes is acceptable, leave the field as is. Next, click the Set button. Then, click OK. A new icon will appear in the Notification Area: this is the Reminder. To change the Time Limit for computer work, double-click the Reminder icon.
Once we have spent some time in front of the computer, a window will appear on the screen informing us that we have been doing it for a bit too long. Depending on which button you click, the program will execute your command.

(Your choices on screenshot above are: Shut down, Log off, Keep working, Ask me later)
